A Colourful, Lacy Cowl //  Design by Ruth Nguyen

With a variety of stitches and endless colour options to explore in a captivating arrangement, knitters will savour every round. This pattern was originally designed as part of our SweetGeorgia 2022 Advent set.

• yarn: 1 SweetGeorgia 2022 Advent set in DK weight (CC1-15) (32 yd / 29 m per .5 oz / 14 g per mini-skein; 100% easy-care merino)

• needles: Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 22 sts and 31 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in St st, after blocking.
  Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements.
• finished measurements: 27 1/4" / 69 cm circumference by 15" / 38 cm depth
• pattern notes: The cowl is knit from the top down in the round.

The 6-page PDF pattern includes written and charted stitch patterns.

Alternative Yarn Options:

• pull from stash DK weight remnants for CC1-15 (and/or change colours when you run out)
• use 2 colours (2 skeins) of SweetGeorgia Merino DK and alternate MC/CC with the even/odd CC instructions
• use 1 colour (2 skeins) of SweetGeorgia Merino DK ignoring all colour change instructions
