• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino DK in Aegean (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)
• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm
  Size 3 US / 3.25 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm
  Size 6 US / 4 mm DPNs
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in St st with larger needle, lightly blocked
  24 sts and 32 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Beg Rib pattern with smaller needle, lightly blocked
  For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge.
• finished measurements: 18 (19½, 21)“ / 45.5 (49.5, 53.5) cm hat brim circumference, lightly stretched
  9” / 23 cm hat height
  8 (9¾)” / 20.5 (25) cm mitt circumference, lightly stretched
  9” / 23 cm mitt length, easily adjustable
