Top Down Triangular Shawl // Design By Grace Verhagen
Inspired by the "Leaf Shadows" motif collected by Barbara Walker, this triangular lace shawl is reminiscent of vines enveloping the red brick buildings in the shade of the Granville Street Bridge.

yarn: Lace-weight version: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Lace in Cayenne (765 yd / 700 m per 3.53 oz / 100 g skein; 50% fine merino, 50% cultivated silk)
Fingering-weight version: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Fine in Spruce (380 yd / 347 m per 3.53 oz / 100 g skein; 50% fine merino, 50% cultivated silk) *discontinued

needles: Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge -
gauge: 20 sts and 34 rows = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size
