With no ends to weave in, you'll enjoy a no-fuss, fun, colour-changing experience—perfect for the gradient-loving knitter, crocheter, or weaver.

Please note that sock blanks are shipped as a stockinette stitch tube (knitted fabric), not as a regular skein of yarn.

To work with the yarn, pull one end from the tube to unravel. You may wish to work straight from the tube or wind it into a ball/cupcake first. Sock blanks provide a unique way to dye colour gradients seamlessly as we dye directly on the knitted fabric. Knitting or crocheting from a sock blank is crinkly, but the crinkles block out perfectly for a smooth, beautiful finish, ensuring you have a magical colour-changing experience. I can’t wait to get started on my small loom project. It may take awhile, but I love the fact it’s so portable!

Very different colors from photos.

The yarn is soft and lovely, but I chose it for a particular project based on the colors I saw online. I realize the colors can be somewhat different but was not expecting the extent that it was. I suspect the yarn was photographed in very bright light, which distorted how much darker the colors actually are and changed the tones, ie medium magenta in the photo is very dark purple in reality, yellow-gold is deep brownish gold I had even checked the colors on 3 different computers before I purchased. Maybe whoever takes the photos should check how accurate they look in the sales program or give a description of the colors in the details info.
